Places everywhere, but novertigo.

Annie's game today was called on accounta vertigo inside her head.

She uses mescaline for it.  Hold on ... what, hon?

She uses meclizine for it.

In case you ever need to know, Dramamine is meclizine. Also, most vertigo resolves itself without treatment, but it's unpleasant while you're spinning.

We're getting serious about leaving Lake City.  Annie's on board now, so things will begin to happen just as soon as she can stand up.

I turned on the Duck this afternoon.  Then I started the generator.  The generator is my turf because it makes Annie mad after the first false start.  I understand the generator, and the generator understands me.  We are one, the generator and I.  I practice Meditative Onanism.  Hold on ... what, hon?

Did Annie dye her hair or is that a wig? She looks an awful lot like Vincent Minnelli's kid...

I had an Onanism once... I closed its door...

Funny, I think she looks like Judy Garland's daughter here.

I will have to think about that longer.

I thought she looked like Lorna Luft's sister....

The Good Luck Duck said...

I didn't know that!

Yes, Judy Garlands daughter for sure.

Why is Liza Minnelli robbing an art museum?

Ha Bleen!

Did you ever watch Arrested Development? It's one of our favorites.

I'm with the Liza Minnelli look. Aside from that Vertigo is not fun except you don't need to drink to have the room spin.

Ok I want directions on that ONAN Meditation. Is it more than just a deep hum like voice saying OOOOOOOOONNNNnnnnnnnaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnn??

Only Liza and Annie manage to make vertigo look both glamorous and funny.

Sherry, I'm chagrined to note that if you Google "meditative Onanism," we again appear on page one. I'm hoping some popular blogger picks up the phrase and pushes me to page 18.

Looks to me like she probably just quit smoking recently.

My first thought was Liza Minnelli too! Sure hope Annie is feeling better.

Ha Maria! Now you know Google isn't always your friend!

Cyndi, it would be funny and not pathetic, right?

HoboJoe, stay strong and sit down. Anyone who can give that up gets my admiration straight-up, no ice.

Thanks, Kevin and Ruth. She says it's still there this morning, but less intense.

I wonder if there is meditative brake-ism??

The Good Luck Duck said...

Ah, Judy. And it seems like everyone's good vibes aren't working as fast as they should. You are doing well in keeping calm and carrying on!

She didn't crack her head on Onan did she?

The Good Luck Duck said...

Hmmm ... they do have something of a self-love/hate relationship.

Been there...hope she stops spinning soon!

The Good Luck Duck said...

Bing? Ask? What are these things on which I am Nos. 1 and 2?? I have to investigate.

Thanks, Bev. She was good enough to take me out riding (to Walgreens) tonight, so I think she's recovering.

:D Thanks Levonne.

Funny gals...
Wanted to stop by and say 'hey' because it's been awhile and I'm back in the game ;)

Cassie, I'm glad you're writing again! It's good to see you in the blogroll again.

Ew. Vertigo. Poor Judy. I mean, Liza. I mean, ANNIE. MTM had a bad case a couple of years ago. Hugs to her (and you.) (and the duck)

The Good Luck Duck said...

Everyone thanks you, Andra. Did MTM get over it spontaneously?

Andra Watkins said...

He did not get over it easily or spontaneously. But, nobody wants to hear another's war stories when they're in the pit, do they? :)

On the upside, it has never recurred. He has no weird after effects. He swears that the neti-pot cures EVERYTHING (and, because he's never sick, I can't argue with the man.)

Hmm, I guess I'll have to practice meditative generacyism with my generator.
It's not long until I need to be out of the stick house, today's rain is getting me down and wrecking some stuff I left out after my yard sale.

The Good Luck Duck said...

Blars, you're correct. Meditative Hondaism is also rewarding.

Are you ready to launch?

A young boy and his father went out fishing one fine morning. After a few quiet hours out in the boat, the boy became curious about the world around him. He looked up at his dad and asked "How do fish breath under water?" The father thought about it for a moment, then replied "I really don't know, son." The boy sat quietly from another moment, then asked his father again, "How does our boat float on the water?" Once again his dad replied, "Don’t know, son." Pondering his thoughts again, a short while later, the boy asks "Why is the sky blue?" Again, his dad replied, "Don’t know, son." The inquiring boy, worried he was annoying his father, asks this time "Dad, do you mind that I'm asking you all of these questions?" "Of course not son", replied his dad, "How else are you ever going to learn anything?"
Don't you feel that many posts and even whole sites are much alike this story?

Anonymous, Blogger thinks this is spam; if it is, it is worthy spam. Yes, I agree with you. In fact, it is the central theme of this blog.
