This is what I'm saying.

First thing tomorrow, the panties go OUT.

Sliver moon.  Hi Bleen!

Another ho-hum sunset in Arizona

I don't get too misshapen when other boondockers arrive.  They are joyous to have a long weekend during which to ride their ATVs and wander around. Okay, they're smelly (upwind generators and cigarettes, I'll close the window now).  Okay, they're not using their desert voices.  Okay, they think it's hilarious to make all four little dogs bark at once.  I predict that, 72 hours from now, they'll pack up their weekend and pull out of here.  Or, we will.

I hope their week-end has ended and they are gone.

People like to see desert sunsets as well as those spring bloomers in the desert? Who would have know?

It's all about me and to hell with anyone else around seems to be the current motto for some.

The one BIG thing that's sad about boondocking in the desert for me is the ATVs. I hate motors of all kinds. Yes yes I know I have an RV and a car but that doesn't mean I want them running all the time or even a minimum of the time.

Hope they all skedaddle real soon!!
Be careful, they might steal those panties. Ever heard of panty raids?? They are still popular with some folks. I'm just sayin.....

OK. Sorry for any irreverence here. If the "panties going out" means they are a sort of battle flag, maybe I should be there to watch.....

.....or listen. Is there something like a Rebel Yell associated with said "panties going out?"

(And yes, I did see the picture. It ain't menacing enough to have them hanging on a line.)

Sunsets are awesome. Hope your neighbors are gone by now. Why are people so rude and tastless.

Their desert voices... forgive them for they know not what they do.

We had skies like this tonight. Delightful red pinks and blue like cotton candy.

All that desert out there. So why park on top of each other? Guess they're afraid of the dark. Definitely time for panty washing. Oh, I guess they don't have to be washed to hang.

It never ceases to amaze me that with hundreds of acres of desert available - they have to park so close !!! grrrr

Hanging the panties out... good idea~
I'll have to remember that trick! lol

Okay, I first read "72 hours" as "72 years." I can only attribute this to the earliness of the hour . . . Hoist the panties! ;)

The desert must be getting full, since they had to park right on top of you. Reminds me of when we'd go diving. We'd be 25 miles off shore and come up from a dive with a "neighbor" Tended to piss me off.

That's what is nice about living in a house with wheels. If the panties don't work then its time to move the house. :)

Thanks for the support (undergarments), you guys! One group rocked out to Elton John, Journey and Stevie Nicks until midnight, which would have been just a lovely blast from the past except they had to sing along. Who knew that the singing along would be the worst of it? They did roar off into the night on their ATVs, which seemed more drunkenly stupid than offensive. It all quieted down at midnight, and I stopped fantasizing about catapulting actual cats toward them.

Wow. Those sunset photos are glorious, Roxanne. I'm not even going to ask questions about panties. I don't have any. Life is easier that way.

Ha Andra! I believe it, and this is how you have come to be called the Accidental Cootchie Mama.

I'm kind of mean like this, but when nearby campers are noisy into the night, I like to get up really early and blast some Beethoven in their direction, and I don't use my desert voice for my remarks about them, either. But that's just me.

Beethoven - good call. Based on their musical selection last night, I was thinking Alan Jackson, and we were going to do the yeehaws in unison using our honky tonk voices.
