I'm going to share a couple of webby things:
- David Cain's latest Raptitude post, "How much does it cost to be you?"
- a new Google+ community for RVers and fans of the RVing life.
One of my job applications brought a phone interview for tomorrow. The job sounds cool and off-beat and maybe right up my side-street, if you know what I'm saying. Temporarily!

Happy Holiday Season to my two favorite Vegan Quackers! You have been an inspirational element in my life.
What a sweet thing to say, Merikay! Happy Holidays to you and Craig, too.
I'm sure you know the saguaros are a protected species. Did you know one dude, a few years ago, decided to shoot one? Ha, It fell over on top of him and killed him. Just desserts... or is that deserts?
That's my kind of irony, Judy - thanks!
Happy Holidays. May 2013 be a wonderful year for your whole duck family. I thought we were going to have a white Christmas here in Phoenix, but it was just a bar that had thrown out a bunch of ice onto the curb. I did get your email and will respond soon.
Happy Holidays, Pat. That was a close call - a few minutes earlier you might have been caught in the storm. We look forward to hearing from you.
A job up your alley. Oh Sigh.........you'll never come East again! Happy Holiday to you and all the cacti in your vacinity. This includes Annie who is certainly not a cacti.
You know I'd get bored with it before long. Annie and I make a prickly pair (get it? *snort*).
Hope your Christmastime was just ducky. Good luck with the J.O.B. (scary word)
Maybe if Annie was using moose on her hair she'd fit in better with those cacti.
Good luck with the interview, temporarily.
Thanks Bob. We didn't feel down (get it? *snort*).
Yes, some sort of product would aid in the camouflage.
All this job talk...are you planning on settling in for a while or is this a temporary diversion?
It's temporary, Donna. Another tank of gas and back on the road again.
Here's to a quackin' good year ahead for your brood!
Thanks, Kim! Back atcha.
Beautiful pictures. Hope you had a great day.
Santa blew me off. Oh well life goes on and I didn't do to bad. Next year I will not be so good.
The payoff is not equivalent to the sacrifice. I say be naughty.
Merry Christmas! Where is this wonderful blm land ?
Merry Christmas, NAN. These pictures were taken in the Saguaro National Park, off Kinney Road.
Merry Christmas! Please let us know about the job.
hmmm a backpack without a person would concern me a bit...
Will do, Nancy. Merry Xmas!
HeyDuke, apparently it's a common site in southern Arizona near active border crossing sites. I actually don't fully understand the rationale, but I think they belong to Mexican nationals who are trying to slip into life in an American city. They travel in something else and carry inconspicuous clothes in the backpack, then leave the pack because it calls attention to them.
Love the Tucson photos and hope you and Annie had a relaxing day yesterday. I hope the job works out and is something that you enjoy...
It was very nice, Cheryl - thanks! How was your day? Thanks about the job. I'm not hungry enough to do something I hate yet. I'd rather be poor!
Really great picture of you both. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Marti! Merry Christmas to you, too.
Merry Christmas, Rick!
Nice photos! Planning on getting to see this! Thanks for following my blog and my FB page.
Merry Christmas..looks like you had a wonderful day...good luck with the job interview..!!
Loved the saguaro's & NP...would have liked to be with someone, knowing we would have laughed uproariously, as i did by myself, have to admit.. they had personalities!!! and boobies and arms all akimbo, could make up stories about them and what they were doing, oh, No, they even had mouths, open in amazement. it would have been fun :)
Love the new photo (of you, not the saguaros)!
Happy New Year! Nickie
Oh those Saguaros; only in the Sonoran Desert! Enjoy Tucson, your new wheels and happy job hopes...Lynda
Thanks, Sunny, and my pleasure!
Thanks, Elaine!
Loree, they're hilarious, aren't they? We mocked their body language.
Thanks, Nickie!
Thank you, Lynda! I love the Sonoran Desert!
