Dogs, cats, and nihilism - an Arizona fairy tale

The new things that happen when I get up to use the bathroom.

This is a family show.

Jake enjoys long walks in the desert, kibble by lamplight, and cat food. Turn-offs include loud noises, noises of any kind, and sounds.

Where's your fancy accent now, Mac?

My life is only ennui.
Annie has left the country again, so my life is only ennui, too. Let me share cute things that other people do.

Sometimes I post extra things on Facebook. Little things that aren't enough for a blog post. I'm going to start letting people post pictures and videos there, because. Come join us, because life is too short to stare into the abyss all day long. By abyss, of course, I'm referring to Nietzsche's Facebook page, and you just know the gloomy bastard has one.

Whatever you do.....DO NOT bring all those critters to Florida! The fleas here will make you long for the desert. Don't even ask us what we spent the day doing. Six years in Tucson, not a single flea. Four months in Florida.....oh ughhh....I can't even talk about it. Please...for your good and the well being of all those sweet fur babies....stay in the desert!!! :)

You're preaching to the saints, Sister! We Frontlined those suckers like clockwork and the fleas climbed into the vial and drank what was left over. Let's not even DISCUSS the ticks.

Lucky dawg! I don't let my dog sleep in the bed with me. Cats take up enough room without fighting a dog.

Jake is fittin' right in. With all the hilarity in your household, you probably need a little dose of Nietzsche. Love the video!

Absolutely adorable! My grand kids loved the one I showed them of the other dog, we played it over and over. You know, the one where he wants the food... I'm going to send the link to your post to my daughter so she can play this video for the little kiddles. Thanks! :)

I think you need a wall to wall bed to hold all the critters! Loved the video.

Annie's out of the country again? You thought you could slip that in on me and I wouldn't notice. Wrong seniorita! I can see her there in that bed. How can she be gone??? She's right under that Oppps.

Sherry, can you never let ONE THING slide? Jeez, you're like the Accuracy Police. Think of her as Schrödinger's Annie. She's here AND in Mexico.

Donna, I think I need a cot in the living room.

Barbara, I've watched it several times myself. Too cute.

Kim, I'll take one dose of Nietzsche, but that's ALL.

Mary, he's kinda sneaky. He'll get down if told, but he figures silence is good news.

I love the video. I do think you need a bigger bed also.
Yes I am still in Tucson for this week and if it doesn't quit being cold and snowy I want a refund. Car is loaded and here I am. :{

Jo, we get a bigger bed, we have to get more animals. Let's stop the madness.

Hope you can get high soon.

I feel your ennui, and raise you an anomie. Two more days of WIND! I hate me some wind in the desert. Love the animals, especially the cat stand.

Smaller bed, more cozy.

If I may ... Frontline and Advantage never worked for us either. The vet we had in MN turned us onto First Shield. That did the trick and has kept the fleas, ticks, and skeeters away from the lil one. Good thing too because they're worse down here in TX too. Hope it helps you guys like it did us.

That was the cutest video ever! Thanks for sharing! Love the bed scene...only way to do it!

Great video. The bed scene looks very familiar - our pups think the bed is theirs!

Rick, I have to hurry and claim my piece of real estate before other animals start homesteading.

Wasn't it sweet, Pam?

Steve, if we ever "get" to go back to Florida, we'll look for First Shield. Does that also take the place of HeartGard?

"Cozy." Like I was so cozy I didn't sleep a wink.

Anomie! Great word! It tops ennui, for sure.

Nope, this stuff is made only to deal with the blood suckers. You can find the stuff at any Banfield.
