The field crew took a field trip to Empire Farm Days this week.  Here I share highlights:

Annie mentioned this week that we've become full-timers without realizing it;  I guess that's true.  We do live here in the Duck in almost all the usual ways.  We're dependent on the stick house for our landline and internet connections. We do our laundry there.  It's where we store the cats.  What else?

I have clothes still hanging in there, but they're winter things and I pretend I will never need them again.   THIS IS MY FANTASY SHUT UP.

My jewelry-making stuff is in the attic, where it sits all summer because it's too hot to work up there.  The less I can work, the more supplies I buy.  If I were sensible I would work on getting that stuff out here, but OY.  I'm looking for the perfect storage container, like the EXLNT-3000 Pro-Craft Gem-Master® or a big Amazon box.

Don't be too timid and squeamish about your actions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
